ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This local Council in Sydney is looking for a highly motivated Building Surveyor - Restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings) to join their team for an immediate start. You will assist with the current project workload, predominantly related to residential projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Building Surveyor, your role will involve frequent communication with both internal and external parties to ensure the smooth execution of projects. This is an initial 6 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance. Become a pivotal player in assisting their team in issuing building information certificates (BIC), construction certificates (CC), occupation certificates (OC), complying development certificate (CDC) and inspecting unauthorized works.

DUTIES.
- Assess and determine BICs, OCs, CCs and CDCs
- Conduct site inspections
- Provide written referrals and stakeholder consultation
- Investigate and resolve complaints and requests from the community
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Accreditation as an A3 Certifier
- Qualifications in Building Surveying (or related)
- Current Class C NSW Driver’s licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
