ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Development Engineer in a initial 6 month contract, you will be responsible for providing sound technical knowledge of civil infrastructure design and construction standards, as well as providing a working knowledge of land use planning policy and guidelines, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

DUTIES.
- Engineering assessment of Development Applications
- Identify, resolve and ensure standard and specific conditions address technical issues
- Assist in appeals in the Land and Environment Court
- Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders including Developers
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications
- Prior experience as a Development Engineer in Local Government, is highly desirable
- Proven knowledge of Local Government Act, Roads Act & Environmental Planning Act
- Proficient in softwares including AutoCAD, Drains, HEC-RAS and MUSIC
