ABOUT THE COMPANY.
My client is a young Civil Contracting business that has been in operation for around ten years. They specialise and is also the preferred Contractor for multiple well known Builders and Developers across Western Sydney. As a company, they have grown strength to strength and has expanded consistently since inception. The value of projects they undertake rangers from $1m - $10m.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Reporting to the Project Manager as a Foreman, your main responsibility is to manage and co-ordinate the delivery of civil projects across Western Sydney. You will have a team of Engineers and workers reporting to you directly assisting you on your project.
DUTIES.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Safety management
- Quality assurance
- Material ordering
- Pre-starts
- Organising and managing subcontractors
- Driving the team on a daily basis to ensure high productivity
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Proven experience in delivering medium to large scale civil projects
- Experience with bulk/detailed earthworks, pavements or utility projects
- An excellent understanding of technical specifications and drawings
- End to end project delivery experience
- Ability to drive sub-contractor productivity
