ABOUT THE POSITION.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to step into a leadership role and make an immediate impact. With a diverse portfolio of unique building projects across the commercial, health, residential, government, and education sectors, this opportunity offers the chance to work on varied and exciting initiatives. For the right candidate, the client is prepared to offer relocation support and sponsorship.


DUTIES.
  • Responsible for Pre and Post Contract work
  • Prepare budgets and benchmarks
  • Manage bills of quantities (BOQ)
  • Provide pre-tender estimates
  • Responsible for measurements, variations & progress claims
  • Lead and support a team of AQSs
  • Liaise with clients and key stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent 
  • At least 5 years of Traditional Quantity Surveying experience 
  • Have lead projects from start to finish
  • Have been in leadership/mentoring positions
