ABOUT THE COMPANY.

An exciting opportunity to join a renowned and established engineering consultancy where they place a priority on your career and success. They have been in operation for over 40 years being specialists in the residential sector with a strong pipeline of work to offer.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will design innovative structures and collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and drafters to ensure adherence to industry standards.

DUTIES.

  • Structural design and calculations
  • Conducting site inspections to determine suitability
  • Detailed documentation, design and analysis of various elements such as reinforced and post tension concrete, steel and timber
  • Monitoring budgets to ensure project costs stay within range
  • Collaborate with the internal engineering and drafting teams
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in software of RAPT, ETABS, SPACE GASS and RAM CONCEPT
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong residential project experience
  • Experience in project homes is advantageous
