ABOUT THE COMPANY. 

This company is a reputable and highly recognised local builder, well known and respected in the building industry for their stellar reputation delivering projects in the ACT. This company specialises in the delivery of high-end residential and commercial projects ranging from $5M - $40M . Having secured a strong pipeline of large-scale new build projects spanning several years, we are seeking to employ an ambitious Building Cadet to develop their skills and grow within the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION. 

As the Building Cadet you will provide support assisting in all areas of the project from start to finish. This is a great opportunity allowing you to gain an understanding of the full end to end project management process and work within a high-functioning delivery team. The Building Cadet will be required to create weekly reports, organise site access and schedule work accordingly. This is a great opportunity to work within a team of industry professionals who will provide you with invaluable experience and mentorship.

DUTIES. 
  • Prepare weekly reports
  • Provide support to project team
  • WHS Compliance
  • Liaise with contractors daily
  • General site administration
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. 
  
  • Currently enrolled in a Construction Management Degree or equivalent
  • 3rd or 4th year student or recent Graduate in Construction Management
  • Must have a positive attitude and possess a willingness to learn
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
