Join a team of industry professionals within a Sydney Local Council as a Development Advisory Officer. Play a pivotal role to assist with reviewing major planning matters requiring high level problem solving skills and exceptional communication skills.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this position, you will manage the planning portal, review the State Significant Development Applications and respond to initial enquiries prior to lodgement. You will also be communicating closely with various internal including the Executive Leadership Group and other external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

DUTIES.
- Review and prepare submissions on Major Development Projects
- Address any issues with the proposal before lodgement
- Provided timely and accurate verbal and written planning advice
- Coordinate submissions to Department of Planning
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Planning or a related qualification
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously
