This reputable Local Council is actively seeking a ambitious Development Assessment Planner to join their collaborative and supportive team environment. Play a key role within a team that is highly committed to making meaningful contributions to community development.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
For this role, you will report to the Senior Coordinator and you will be responsible for assessing development applications (DAs), coordinating Council reports for planning panels and evaluating and reporting on fast track DAs.

- Coordinating Council reports to planning panels
- Assessing and reporting on fast track DAs
- Duty Planning and site inspections
- Liaising with all levels of internal and external customers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor's degree in Urban/Town Planning or related
- Strong ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Understanding of NSW Planning Legislation/controls
- Previous experience working for Local Council is preferred
