ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A Local Council based in Eastern Sydney - your team is looking for an experienced Senior Property Officer to assist the Property and Projects Department within a collaborative team of 4. Previous Council experience is highly regarded.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
An initial 3 month contract. Reporting to the Manager - Property and Projects, administer Council's property portfolio, with a focus on the arrangement of property sales & disposals, leasing, licencing and footway dining approvals.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
An initial 3 month contract. Reporting to the Manager - Property and Projects, administer Council's property portfolio, with a focus on the arrangement of property sales & disposals, leasing, licencing and footway dining approvals.
DUTIES.
- Manage Council's portfolio of leases, licenses and agreements, including the disposal of Council properties and road reserves
- First point of contact for Council land and property matters
- Responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Setup meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes as required
- Prepare quarterly and annual budgets with the Manager
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Extensive property management experience
- Experience working for Local Council (highly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in property sales and leasing, arranging valuations and conveyancing
- Experience in inviting tenders for leases & licenses for Council property
