ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This reputable Local Council based in Northern Sydney, is looking for a Parking Officer to join their enforcement team of 12. For the duration of 6 month contract, you will be reporting to the Team Leader and promoting a positive image of Council in an efficient and courteous manner.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
You will actively patrol on foot to undertake the business functions associated with parking enforcement activities, record-keeping, preparation of evidence, representing the Council at legal proceedings, and liaising with the community, team members, and Council staff. Working hours are between 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

DUTIES.
- Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
- Issue penalty infringement notices when necessary
- Provide quality customer service to the public, internal and external stakeholders
- Report other non-related parking matters to Council
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A Class C Driver's Licence is required
- Outstanding customer service experience
- Ability to learn and apply legislation as required
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
