They have an impeccable project portfolio across various sectors such as Commercial, Education, Residential, Commercial, Aged Care, etc. The firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their enthusiastic team and contribute towards their current and upcoming projects. ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role by working on variety of projects across Commercial, Education, Residential, Aged Care. This will allow you to enhance your skill set and project portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering projects from feasibility stage through to handover. In this position, you will be given the golden opportunity to work closely and attain guidance from industry experts whilst working alongside qualified Quantity Surveyors. 

DUTIES.
  • Initiate budgets and benchmarks
  • Lead Pre Contract and Post Contract work
  • Manage Variations, Pre-tenders & Progress Claims
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Prepare cost plans 
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent 
  • Minimum 3 years Professional Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience in cost plans and variations
  • Responsible for delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • Exposure to residential, education, commercial, health, industrial or retail projects
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
