My client is currently seeking an Architecture Project Manager to join their organisation on a 14 month contract. You will be reporting to the Team Leader Major Projects and liaising with various teams, including civil/structural engineering, planning, construction and external consultant.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing Council's Infrastructure Program to ensure the designs comply with Council policies and practices. The role will have a strong focus on community engagement and communication as well as meeting legislative and governance requirements.
DUTIES.
- Managing the design process from brief to tender documentation
- Ensuring the design is of high quality and in line with project brief
- Managing the external Architects consultants
- Community engagement with the public
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering, Building, Project Management or related
- Class C Driver's License
- White Card
- Excellent design management experience or extensive consultant management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
