ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Asset Manager you will coordinate resources for the development, implementation and management of processes, procedures, and systems to support and improve Council’s asset management practices towards a standard consistent with best practice. This includes creating and maintaining an asset management framework, with a focus on continuous improvement of business processes related to data in infrastructure databases and migrating existing data to proprietary asset management applications.
DUTIES.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective asset management (AM) strategies, processes, and systems.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of scheduled asset inspections, support asset valuations, and guide the creation and review of Asset Management Plans.
- Recommend data and system requirements for AM practices.
- Manage the implementation of new and upgraded software solutions, and ensure integration with key systems like GIS and Finance.
- Provide high-level technical support for asset information systems and ensure the currency of AM registers.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or relevant qualification
- Proficiency in Civica(Authority)
- At least 3-4 years experience in a leadership position in Asset Management within Civil Infrastructure
- High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
