ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Civil Engineer, you will leverage off your previous experience using software’s such as DRAINS, MUSIC, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, Civil3D, and AutoCAD to work on Stormwater, On-site detention Tanks, Roads and pavements for a variety of projects. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate and liaise with the team to ensure timely and ease of delivery for the projects.
DUTIES.
- Produce stormwater, drainage, OSD, water quality and water sensitive urban design
- Attend site inspections, project meetings and design reviews
- Utilize DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC and Civil 3D on a daily basis
- Mentor, guide and train Junior Engineers
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to achieve project objectives
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary Degree in Engineering
- CPEng or in the process is highly advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team and client liaising
- Experience with Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAIN, MUSIC and AutoCAD
- 3+ years’ experience highly regarded
