Join local council a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for the contract management of both new and existing contracts across the Council’s network. Where required, you will also ensure the deployment of a rigorous risk management system, Risk Register and liaise with stakeholders to identify mitigation measures.
DUTIES
- Manage all new and existing contracts across the network of Council for the tender process, documentation, evaluation and overall contract management
- Receive and manage contract deliverables, variations, changes, etc.
- Ensure contract is being met and delivered between Council & the Contractors
- Monitor budgetary spending against pre-determined targets. Weigh up options on a cost basis to make recommendations and continuously look for greater efficiency within projects
- Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration or relevant experience in Contract Administration
- Contract management experience in civil, building and open space projects is desirable
- Adaptable and flexible attitude, someone who takes initiative and immerses themselves in the role
- Good communication skills, verbal and written with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
