Western Sydney Local Council seeking a driven and experience Desktop Support Officer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-level internal customer service. Join a close-knit, collaborative team of 18 that offers growth opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Initial 2-month contract with possibility for on-going extensions. You will provide ICT support to Council with a focus on resolving ICT incidents and service requests, including providing desktop and mobile hardware/software support.
DUTIES.
- Provide first and second level technical support for IT incidents
- Provide technical expertise and knowledge of IT services
- Coordinate IMAC services including installation and deployment of new devices
- Assist in post-incident analysis
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Experience in a similar Council ICT position
- Strong working knowledge of PCs, phones, networks, servers & more
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
REMUNERATION.
- $40 p/h + Super
