South-Western Sydney Local Council seeking a driven, energetic HR Support Officer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-level internal customer service. Join a close-knit, collaborative HR/ team that offers growth opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Initial 4-5-month contract until the EOFY with possibility for extensions. You will provide HR support with a focus on interview management, recruitment support, probation and HR BP liaison. WFH offered after initial training period.
DUTIES.
- Support recruitment for a variety of Council positions including on-boarding & off-boarding
- Assist in the development of HR documents and materials
- Coordinate effective communication between Council leaders & external stakeholders
- Manage Council's establishment register & organisational charts
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Experience in a similar Council HR position
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
REMUNERATION.
- $48 p/h + Super
