As a preferred contractor for government and tier-one clients, they have multiple projects across Sydney and seek a motivated Leading Hand with strong machine operating experience.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Reporting to the Foreman, this role involves assisting with daily project operations and managing a small team. With projects are based in the Sydney Metropolitan areas, the company also offers excellent career development and growth opportunities.
DUTIES.
- Manage subcontractors on-site
- Perform hands-on tasks
- Ensure WHS compliance
- Assist Foremen with projects
- Supervise a small team (2-3 people)
- Experience as a Leading Hand
- Earthworks or subdivision project delivery
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Team management skills
