ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position of Principal Environmental Consultant, specialising in contaminated land management, is responsible for leading and overseeing complex environmental projects from start to finish. This role will involve leveraging existing work and managing established client relationships as well as maintaining a team of consultants to ensure the projects and teams growth.
DUTIES.
- Provide technical input on contaminated land projects including site investigations, risk assessments and remediation strategies.
- Manage project teams and mentor junior staff ensuring their development
- Develop business opportunities and maintain current client relationships
- Inherit an extensive client base and team to grow
- Prepare project proposals, technical assessments and report writing
- Oversee the management and technical aspects of the contaminated land team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Relevant Degree Qualifications in Environmental Science or Engineering
- Proven leadership experience working within a local consultancy
- Strong business acumen and technical capacity within the Contaminated Land Industry.
- Excellent verbal and written ability
