ABOUT THE POSITION.
The Principal Environmental Scientist will lead and manage complex environmental projects, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the company's sustainable growth and reputation for excellence.
DUTIES.
- Lead environmental assessments, site investigations, and remediation projects
- Contribute to proposals by developing discipline execution strategies
- Manage, and cultivate a highly motivated team of environmental engineers and scientists
- Provide discipline supervision for large or multiple smaller projects from start to finish
- Prepare and review project proposal, technical assessment and report writing
- Support business development activities
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget
- Relevant Degree Qualifications in Environmental Science or Engineering
- Proven track record in client relationship management and business development
- Extensive experience within contaminated land projects, with a focus on Sydney and New South Wales conditions
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
