ABOUT THE POSITION.

The Principal Hydraulic Engineer role will require you to lead the design and management of complex hydraulic systems for a variety of projects. You’ll provide expert technical guidance, oversee project delivery, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of hydraulic engineering, and the ability to mentor and develop junior engineers. It’s an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to high-profile projects.

DUTIES.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout a project’s lifecycle
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Design, analyze, and optimize hydraulic systems, components, and equipment to meet project requirements
  • Conduct site investigations
  • Play an active role in business development
  • Train, mentor and guide Junior Hydraulic Engineers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Relevant Degree qualification 
  • End to end design and calculations for Hydraulics Building Services
  • Exposure to Fire Services is beneficial
  • Proven experience within a management role 
  • Established local experience within Australia
  • Liaising with key stakeholders
