ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This nationally recognised Quantity Surveying firm is renowned for their professional and quality services across a wide variety of projects including Commercial and Residential. The firm is expanding with a large portfolio of exciting opportunities and therefore require a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is driven to develop their expertise in these areas. ABOUT THE POSITION.

This is an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a motivated and driven team and contribute on a diverse range of projects. In this role, you will be pivotal to the lifecycle of a project, from the feasibility of the project to the completion. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to provide guidance and help mentor the junior members of the team. You will be instrumental in the fostering client and stakeholder relationships.
  
DUTIES.
  • Manage Pre-Contract and Post-Contract stages.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering.
  • Responsible for the measurement of quantities, estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates.
  • Direct projects from feasibility through to the completion of the project, ensuring on time delivery and budget control.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure success of the project.
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • A bachelor’s degree in project management or construction management (Majoring in Quantity Surveying)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working with CostX
  • Currently holds a membership in an accredited professional organisation (e.g. RICS, AIQS)
