ABOUT THE POSITON.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Cost Manager looking to contribute to a range of diverse projects in a high-performing team. In this role, you will manage the delivery of key cost management services and provide consultative support throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, from feasibility through to completion.
DUTIES.
- Manage Pre-Contract and Post-Contract stages.
- Create procurement and contract advice.
- Responsible for the measurement of quantities, estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates.
- Direct projects from feasibility through to the completion of the project, ensuring on time delivery and budget control.
- Value engineering.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure success of the project.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A bachelor’s degree in project management or construction management (Majoring in Cost Management or Quantity Surveying)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying.
- Experience working with CostX is desirable.
- Currently holds a membership in an accredited professional organisation (e.g. RICS, AIQS)
