ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will be involved at every stage of the project lifecycle, responsible for designing and overseeing hydraulic systems across a variety of projects. Your role will ensure compliance with relevant standards while delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions. Success in this position will require extensive experience in building services, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service throughout the entire project lifecycle.
DUTIES.
- Manage projects from concept to completion
- Create detailed hydraulic systems designs for buildings
- Perform hydraulic calculations and analysis for water demand, pressure, flow rates and pipe sizing
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and stakeholders
- Mentor and train junior engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience within a Building Services environment is essential
- Proficiency in Hyena, H2X, AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and leadership skills
