ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take on a leadership role in managing all aspects of QS work, including measurement, cost planning, budgeting, and risk management. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to provide strategic guidance, mentor junior team members, and manage client relationships. You will report directly to the Senior leadership team, contributing valuable insights and expertise to drive the success of each project. Your experience in handling complex projects and delivering innovative cost solutions will be crucial to your success in this role.
DUTIES.
- Lead client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage both Pre and Post Contract stages, from cost planning to final accounts.
- Drive projects from feasibility to construction, ensuring timely delivery and budget control.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project budgets.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure all terms are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- A bachelor’s degree in project management or construction management majoring in Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum 4yrs Quantity Surveying experience
- Work well within a team
- Previous experience working for a consultancy firm
