The client is a Quantity Surveying firm located in Sydney, renowned for delivering cost management solutions across a variety of projects including Residential, Industrial, Commercial and more. ABOUT THE POSITON.
   
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to contribute to a range of diverse projects in a high-performing team. In this role, you will manage the delivery of key cost management services and provide consultative support throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, from feasibility through to completion. The role will be pivotal to the success of any given project.
   
DUTIES.
  • Manage Pre-Contract and Post-Contract stages.
  • Create procurement and contract advice.
  • Responsible for the measurement of quantities, estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates.
  • Direct projects from feasibility through to the completion of the project, ensuring on time delivery and budget control.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure success of the project.
   
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • A bachelor’s degree in project management or construction management (Majoring in Quantity Surveying)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working with CostX
  • Currently holds a membership in an accredited professional organisation (e.g. RICS, AIQS)
