ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take the lead in designing innovative structures, working closely with a team of engineers and drafters to ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior engineers, helping to shape their skills and support their career progression.
DUTIES.
- Structural design and calculations
- Conducting site inspections to determine suitability
- Training and mentoring of junior staff
- Detailed documentation, design and analysis of various elements such as reinforced concrete, steel and timber
- Monitoring budgets to ensure project costs stay within range
- Collaborate with the internal engineering and drafting teams
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in software of Inducta, SpaceGass and Structural Toolkit or similar related software
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Residential project experience
