ABOUT THE COMPANY
Join local council as a Civil Supervisor. Initial 6 months contract with possibility for extension, 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times and on-going training and development provided.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an experienced Supervisor, you will supervise all staff and contractors involved in the delivery of Council's civil projects, conduct site inspections, assess and provide recommendations.
DUTIES
- Supervise works on-site to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and safety standard
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction, whether related to personnel, materials or scheduling
- Undertake on-site WHS inspections including plant and equipment checks
- TAFE Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction
- Previously experience as a Supervisor
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in civil projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
