Are you an experienced Land Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We are on the hunt for a passionate Surveyor for a 6-month contract to help deliver high-impact infrastructure projects within local council! If you want to make a difference in your community while working on exciting capital works, this is the opportunity for you.
DUTIES.
- Conduct a variety of surveys (cadastral, topographic, boundary, subdivision) and lead fieldwork.
- Produce detailed reports, sketches, and plans, ensuring high standards are met.
- Collaborate with external consultants and the Engineering team to provide technical support.
- Mentor junior team members and stay updated on NSW land regulations and standards.
- Manage surveys for key construction projects and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Bachelor of Surveying & registration (or working towards)
- Strong experience in cadastral, topographic, and engineering surveys
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GNSS, and other surveying tech
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and the team
- Knowledge of NSW land regulations and a drive for continuous learning
